About...

Hi.  My name is Matt Petkovich, but my friends call me Petko.  I've been playing guitar, singing, and writing songs since I was 12 years old.  I played in a garage band called Haywire back in the late 90's, with a few gigs sprinkled here and there over East Central Illinois.  Years went by.  I went to college. Got married.  Had kids.  Started a career.  Music took a back seat for a time....but that time is in the past.

 Over the past few years, I've brushed off my guitars, dusted off my chops, and started sharing my music again.  I play rock music - just me and my guitar.  Mostly from the 90's and early 00's.  I cover a few older tunes, a few newer tunes, a few pop tunes, and even a few country tunes.  I play some original material.  Over the past couple years I've played shows from Northern Illinois to Northwest Indiana to Northern Michigan.
